Meet Mark and Myra

2022 - 2024 SD10 Committee Members

Mark Greene and Myra Mills Tschirhart were elected on July 15, 2022, at the Texas Democratic Party convention held in Dallas, TX. They will serve a 2 year term. In 2024, executive committee members will be elected based on the Congressional district lines.

Mark Greene

Mark Greene is a long-time Democratic activist in Tarrant County, and lives in Southwest Fort Worth with his wife Kelly, daughter Celeste, and a house full of fur babies. His son Jarrod resides on the east side of Fort Worth. Mark has served as precinct chair for multiple precincts, was the 2000 and 2014 Democratic nominee for the 12th Congressional District, founded the North Texas Democratic Alliance in the early 2000s to help launch and support Democratic clubs, and founded Tarrant Obama in 2007 – more than two months before Barack Obama formally announced his candidacy. He also served a term on Benbrook’s city council. A licensed professional home inspector, Mark also works part-time as a construction manager and project consultant on residential and commercial projects. When not working, doing politics, or napping on the sofa with a book on his face, he can be found sailing area lakes or hiking area trails.

Myra Mills Tschirhart

Myra Mills Tschirhart (cheer-heart) lives in Southwest Fort Worth with her husband, Mark (a different Mark!) and two sons. She works as the Chief of Staff for Arena, an organization focused on helping build quality campaign infrastructure across the country. She is currently part of the Leadership ISD Civic Voices fellowship focused on advocacy for racial equity in school districts, active in her county party, and serves on the board for the Fort Worth Alumni Families Committee. In her spare time, you'll find Myra playing kickball or crafting.
