Texas Democrats of Senate District 10

Connecting Democratic voters with the Texas Democratic Party

Thanks for your involvement in Democratic politics in Texas. Welcome to the page created by the members elected to represent the 10th Senate District to the State Executive Democratic Committee. Our goal is to act as a liaison to Democratic voters in SD10 so they have a direct connection to the state party.

About Senate District 10

Senate District 10 was gerrymandered in 2021 by Republicans to get rid of Democratic Senator Beverly Powell. A district that was solely contained in Tarrant County has been redrawn to include 6 new counties, Brown, Callahan, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Shackleford, and Stephens counties, as well as a large section of Parker county, with a slight majority of the voters residing in the southern part of Tarrant County. As a result, we have both a new challenge and a unique opportunity: to represent a diversity of voices and viewpoints ranging from sparsely populated rural counties, to metropolitan suburbs, to the precincts of America's 13th largest city.
